Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions

What information do you need to review a project?

Send the project location, requested scope, plans and specifications, available geotechnical information, quantities, schedule, bid deadline, and known site or safety restrictions. Start with what you have; remaining questions can be addressed during the review.

Do you offer drilling only and turn-key foundations?

Yes. Auger can evaluate drilling-only work or a turn-key foundation scope. The proposal identifies the materials, installation, equipment, testing coordination, and other responsibilities included in the price.

How far will Auger travel?

Auger is based in Zachary, Louisiana, and evaluates work in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, and New Mexico. Farther mobilization can be considered when the scope and schedule justify it. Availability depends on the project requirements.

Can you help arrange engineering?

Work is performed from engineer-provided plans. If engineering is needed, Auger can coordinate outside engineering support; the design responsibilities and costs must be defined for the project.

Do you accept residential work?

Yes. Commercial, infrastructure, and specialty work are the main focus, but residential demolition, drilled shafts, and helical-pile assignments can be considered.

What safety information should we provide?

Include known utilities, operating-site rules, access limits, lifting conditions, nearby structures, public exposure, and customer safety requirements. Written job-safety analyses and site-specific safety plans are developed when required by the customer, site, or work conditions.

How do I request a bid or contact Brad?

Use Request a Bid to submit your project information, or contact Brad at 225.324.7650 or Brad@AugerFoundation.com. A submitted inquiry does not confirm pricing, scheduling, or acceptance of the work.
